  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 6 tsp. cornstarch
  • 4 tsp. strawberry Jell-O
  • red food coloring
  • 2 c. whole strawberries
  • whipped cream (for top)

Directions

    Bring to boil the water, sugar and cornstarch and cook until clear.

    Add Jell-O and a few drops of red food coloring.
  3. 3
    Place 2 cups of fresh whole strawberries in a baked pie shell.
  4. 4
    Pour cooled mixture over and let set for about 5 hours.
  5. 5
    Top with whipped cream.
