- 1/2 cup uncooked wild rice
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 12 ounces beer
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Melt the Butter in the Olive Oil in a sauce pan, and saute the diced Onion until it is nearly transparent.

2Add the Wild Rice, Salt and Pepper and stir until the rice grains are covered in the oil/butter Add the Beer, lower the heat and simmer the Wild Rice, uncovered for 30 minutes or until the rice is tender.
