  • 3 sticks butter (no margarine)
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar (heaping)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 4 c. plain flour, sifted

Directions

    Soften butter and add sugar and egg yolks; mix well.

    Add flour until all is worked in.

    Add finely chopped nuts.

    Place dough down until 1/4-inch deep on a cookie sheet and score dough with a fork.

    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in a 325°

    Cut into squares while hot and let cool in the pan.
