  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or Brazil nuts)

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Cream butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light.

    Add flour to butter mixture and add nuts.

    Roll into balls size of small walnut and flatten slightly on a greased baking sheet.

    Refrigerate until firm, then bake in a 375° oven for 10 minutes or until done. Cool on cookie rack.

    Sift with confectioners sugar, if desired.
