  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

    Brown meat; pour off excess fat.

    Add next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes.

    Cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender; drain and rinse in cold water.

    Place half of noodles in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Cover with 1/3 of sauce and 1/2 Mozzarella cheese.

    Repeat layers, ending with sauce.

    Top with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.

    Serve with salad and rolls.
