Shredded Wheat Bread

  • 2 Shredded Wheat, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 5 or 6 c. flour

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients in mixing bowl.

    When cooled to lukewarm, add yeast and beaten eggs.

    Add flour.

    Let rise twice and shape into 2 loaves or rolls.

    Bake at 350° about 30 to 35 minutes until tops are brown.
