Ingredients

  • 2 lb. shrimp, cooked and cleaned
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. sherry
  • 2 pimentos, cut in strips

Directions

    Cook onion in melted butter.

    Add tomatoes, bay leaf, salt, thyme, cayenne pepper and sugar.

    Dilute mushroom soup with sherry.

    Finally add shrimp and pimentos.

    Cook 10 minutes.

    Serve with boiled rice.
