Shrimp Barbecue

- 4 to 5 lb. large shrimp
- 1 3/4 lb. butter
- 1/4 c. black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Wash and clean shrimp well, but do not shell.

2Place shrimp in large pan that is at least 2-inches deep.

3Melt butter; add to it the pepper, garlic and lemon juice.

4Pour this over shrimp.

5Cover with foil.

6Bake at 250° for 2 hours.

7Turn oven off and let shrimp marinate in warm oven until ready to serve.

8Serve shrimp in liquid mixture with green salad and French bread.

9Be sure to dip the bread in butter sauce!
