- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. snipped parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. celery salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 1 (7 oz.) can shrimp, drained and chopped (reserve liquid)
Directions

1Cook and stir onion in butter over low heat.

2Stir in flour, parsley, salt, celery salt and pepper.

3Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly.

4Remove from heat. Stir in milk and chicken broth.

5Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

6Boil and stir one minute.

7Stir in shrimp and liquid. Serves 8.
