  • 3 lb. shrimp, washed, drained and patted dry (unshelled)
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c. vermouth
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Heat margarine and olive oil.

    Add garlic which has been put through press.

    Cook until garlic is cooked.

    Add shrimp.

    Add pepper and salt heavily as salt has to penetrate shrimp shell. When shrimp are done, add vermouth and lemon juice and cook about 2 minutes.
