- 3 lb. shrimp
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 1/2 c. hot water
- 16 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 4 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1In heavy pot, melt butter.

2Add oil and saute all seasonings until done. Add flour and blend well. Add tomato sauce, hot water and sugar. Cook over medium heat approximately 30 minutes. Add shrimp and cook another 30 minutes.
