- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 small bay leaf
- 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
- 1 slice lemon
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 4 drops Tabasco
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 2 c. cooked shrimp
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet and add onion, celery and green peppers.

2Cook slowly until tender; add flour and seasoning and stir.

3Stir in tomatoes; cook 10 minutes over low heat.

4Add shrimp.

5Remove bay leaf and lemon slice.
