Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 onions, diced
  • parsley flakes
  • 1 lb. shrimp, cooked and diced
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • flour or cornstarch to thicken
  • pepper
  • 6 oz. chili sauce
  • bay leaf
  • 2 cans chopped tomatoes
  • seasoned salt

Directions

    Melt margarine; saute onion and green pepper for a few minutes.

    Stir in flour and cook a minute or so.

    Add tomatoes and liquid, sugar, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and chili sauce; simmer until thickened and seasonings are blended, approximately 15 minutes.

    Remove bay leaf before serving.
