- 1/2 c. butter
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. applesauce
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 2 to 3 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 3 1/2 c. shrimp, boiled and deveined
Directions

1Melt butter in large pan and blend in flour.

2Stir in the applesauce, soup mix, water, curry powder, ginger and lemon juice. Cook until it thickens to the correct consistency.

3Add shrimp and heat thoroughly.

4Serve over mounds of rice.

5Sprinkle or pass condiments (shredded coconut, ground nuts and chutney). Serves 8.
