Shrimp Fried Rice

  • 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 6 c. cooked rice
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 c. chopped, cooked shrimp (may use canned)
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

    Heat in skillet or wok.

    Add shrimp (chicken, ham or beef may be used).

    Season with salt, peppers and garlic powder; stir and brown.

    Add egg and cook until it shreds.

    Add rice and cook until brown.

    Add soy sauce and sprinkle onions on top.

    Serve immediately.
