- 1/4 c. oleo
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 minced garlic buds
- 2 small sliced onions
- 1/2 sliced green pepper
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 pt. water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 3 c. water
- 1 1/2 lb. shrimp
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Melt oleo. Stir in garlic, onion, pepper and flour.

2Cook until tender.

3Combine tomatoes and paste with water. Add this, plus remaining ingredients (except shrimp and rice).

4Simmer 45 minutes. Cool.

5Add shrimp and simmer, covered, 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink and tender. Serve over rice.
