  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 lb. medium-size shrimp
  • 15 pieces lumpia wrapper or egg roll
  • 1/2 medium sized carrot (in 2-inch pieces)
  • 1 bunch green onion (in 2-inch pieces)

Directions

    Prepare marinade by combining sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white wine and lemon juice.

    Shell shrimps, leaving tails. Devein.

    Wrap shrimps with 2 to 3 strips each of carrot and green onion in lumpia wrapper or egg roll.

    Roll.

    Seal with cornstarch paste.

    Deep fat fry.

    Serve hot.
