- 1 pt. fresh small shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 6 to 8 slices bacon
- 1 onion, minced
- salt
Directions

1Season flour with salt and pepper; flour the shrimp.

2Fry the bacon; remove from the pan.

3Stir-fry the onion; remove from the pan.

4Add the floured shrimp to the bacon grease; cook over medium heat until pinkish.

5Add about 1 cup of water; stir to thicken. Crumble in bacon; add the onion.

6May need more water if too thick.

7Serve over rice or grits.
