Ingredients
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 rib celery, chopped
- Tabasco to taste
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp. green onion, chopped
- 1 lb. peeled shrimp
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute flour and oil until brown.

2Add onion, garlic, celery, parsley and green onion.

3Cover and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

4Add 3/4 cup water, salt and pepper and Tabasco.

5Simmer for 1 hour.

6Stir in shrimp and cook covered for 5 minutes.

7Serve over hot creamy rice.
