- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. each butter and flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 yellow crookneck squash, sliced in rounds
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Moistened in 2 tablespoons butter, drain and rinse shrimp. Melt butter, blend in flour, gradually add milk and cook to smooth sauce; season with salt and pepper.

2Add shrimp and squash; layer in buttered casserole alternately with shrimp, sauce and crumbs. Reserve some crumbs for top.

3Remove cover and bake 25 minutes in 325° oven.
