- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Directions

1Preheat oven 350 degrees.

2Melt butter in cast iron skillet that will be used to cook cornbread.

3Combine all ingredients except butter in a large bowl.

5Pour melted butter into batter and stir until blended.

6Pour batter into skillet.
