- 1 gallon fresh tomato
- 8 -10 fresh jalapenos, chopped
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions

1Plunge tomatoes in boiling water for one minute.

2Remove and let cool till you can handle them comfortably.

3Core, peel, chop and place in large pot (a dutch oven works great).

4Dice jalapenos and add to tomatoes.

5Wear gloves if your hands are sensitive to peppers.

6Add cumin, salt and garlic powder.

7Bring to a boil.

8Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, till reduced almost by half.

9This will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

10Let cool and place desired amount in freezer bags.

11Place in freezer.
