- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 12 green pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 12 cups hot water
Directions

1Heat oil in large saucepan.

2Add onion, green pepper, rice, and chili powder.

3Stir over medium heat until veggies are lightly browned.

4Add hot water and tomato sauce, bring to boil.

5Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook 20 minutes until rice is tender.

6Fluff with fork before serving.
