Simple Squash Casserole

Ingredients
- 4 c. boiled squash
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 to 10 saltines, crushed
- 1/2 stick oleo
Directions

1Boil squash until tender; drain.

2Combine chopped onion, mayonnaise, 1 cup cheese, salt, pepper and oleo; mix well.

3Pour in cooked squash and mix.

4Pour into buttered casserole.

5Cover with cracker crumbs and remaining 1/4 cup cheese.

6Bake at 375° until cheese is melted and brown.
