  • 2 cups sugar

    In a small saucepan combine water and sugar.

    Bring to a boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar.

    Remove from heat.

    Cool to room temperature.

    Cover and chill at least 2 hours or up to 2 weeks.

    Chamomile-Lavender Simple Syrup:.

    Prepare as above except stir 1/4 cup chamomille lavender herbal tea blend in with the sugar and water.
