Simple Teriyaki Chicken

  • 4 whole Chicken Breasts Or Thighs, Trimmed Of Excess Fat
  • 1/2 cups Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced Or 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ginger
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Can) Pineapple Chunks, Drained Of Juice (optional)

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and place the chicken in a 9x13 baking dish.

    Combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a blender, food processor, or canister with a lid, and blend or shake until mixed well.

    Pour soy sauce mixture evenly over chicken, and cook in the oven until no longer pink, about 45 minutes.

    Occasionally flip or baste the chicken while cooking.

    If using the pineapple, add to the chicken during the last 15 minutes of baking.

    Extra sauce from the baking dish can be poured over rice, or cut up chicken.
