  • 1 lb. hamburger or any chopped meat
  • chopped onions
  • sliced carrots
  • 1 qt. or less canned tomatoes
  • salt and pepper

    In a deep casserole, place potatoes.

    Sprinkle with rice.

    Add a layer of onions and a layer of carrots.

    Cover with tomatoes.
