- 2 2/3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- instant coffee powder or granules
- 10 (1.4 oz.) chocolate covered toffee candy bars
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
Directions

1Mix first 9 ingredients.

2Dissolve 2 teaspoons coffee in 1 cup boiling water.

3Add to bowl and beat for 2 minutes.

4Pour batter into 3 (8-inch) greased and floured round cake pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.

5Cool 10 minutes.

6Remove from pans and cool completely.
