  • 2 c. cooked beef, chopped
  • 2 c. cooked potatoes, chopped
  • 2/3 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 2/3 c. water
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Combine beef, potatoes, onion, parsley, salt and pepper.

    Melt shortening in large skillet over medium heat.

    Spread meat mixture in skillet.

    Brown hash 10 to 15 minutes; turning frequently with a wide spatula.

    Stir in water.

    Reduce heat; cover and cook for 10 minutes or until crisp.
