- 2 to 3 lb. chuck roast
- 2 tsp. cooking oil in skillet
- 1 medium onion
- 4 potatoes, quartered
- 4 carrots
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Rub roast in flour and salt until coated. Heat skillet on medium heat; brown 10 minutes until brown on both sides.

2Add water; cook until almost done. Add potatoes, carrots and onions (in slices) on roast. Add black pepper. Cook until done.
