- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 c.)
- 1 (48 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti, broken into pieces
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 4-quart Dutch oven until meat is light brown; drain.

2Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese.

3Heat to boiling; reduce heat.

4Cover; simmer, stirring occasionally, until spaghetti is tender, about 25 minutes.

5Sprinkle with cheese.
