  • 1 lb. ground beef, formed in balls
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • potatoes (whole or halves)
  • carrots (whole or halves)
  • whole onions
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening

Directions

    Roll balls in flour, salt and pepper to taste.

    Brown in shortening.

    Add potatoes, carrots and peas.

    Place all vegetables in skillet with meatballs.

    Add 3 cups water.

    Simmer for about 1 hour or until vegetables and meat are done.
