Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey or lean ground meat
- 2 qt. water
- 4 bouillon cubes
- 5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 5 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 c. barley
- 1/2 c. rice
- 1 (46 oz.) can V-8 juice
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
- celery salt (sprinkle)
- garlic salt (sprinkle)
- 1/4 c. parsley flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown meat and set aside.

2In large pot, put water and bouillon cubes.

3Add potatoes, carrots, onions, barley, rice, juice and tomatoes.

4Cook 15 minutes.

5Add all remaining ingredients, including meat, and cook 45 minutes longer.
