  • 3 lb. cabbage
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 jar pimento pepper
  • 2 c. water

Directions

    Boil sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard seed and water for 3 minutes; cool.

    Chop cabbage, peppers and onions.

    Pour vinegar mixture over cabbage; refrigerate. Will keep for 2 to 3 weeks.
