- 2 qt. water
- 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 onion
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. flour
Directions

1Boil the tongue in water until tender.

2Remove from liquid, skin and cut into slices.

3Melt butter in a pan, add onion and fry over slow fire until yellow.

4Add the boiling liquid, season with salt, pepper, juice of lemon, sugar and flour mixed with a little water.

5Add the sliced tongue and boil about 15 to 20 minutes.
