  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 large (6 serving) box vanilla instant pudding
  • 8 to 12 drops green food coloring
  • 1/2 pt. well chilled heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 to 12 drops green food coloring

Directions

    Make cake according to directions on box.

    Make and bake two 8 or 9-inch layers.

    Separately, follow box instructions to make the vanilla pudding, adding the 8 to 12 drops of green food coloring as you blend ingredients.

    Cover this mixture and place in refrigerator at least an hour, or until you are ready to use it. (This is the slime.)
