  • 1/2 pound bacon, diced
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 4 (16 ounce.) cans pork & beans
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • Barbecue sauce as desired

    In medium skillet, fry bacon till crisp.

    Drain, reserving 2 Tbsp.

    In slow cooker, combine bacon, drippings and remaining ingredients, stirring till well mixed.
