  • 1 12-2 kg beef
  • 12 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 12 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 400 g crushed tomatoes
  • 250 g mushrooms, diced
  • 4 small onions, diced
  • 12 cup red wine

Directions

    place first 8 ingredients in a bag or bowl to marinade.

    Overnight is best.

    In crock pot place tomatoes, onion, mushrooms and red wine.

    Add meat to crock pot - put to low heat.

    Place marinade into a separate pot and bring to the boil.

    Add to crock - pot.

    Cover the meat in the sauce.

    Cook on low overnight.
