- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 cans (16 oz. each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 2 med. onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt, optional
- 1 tsp. pepper
- Shredded cheese, optional
Directions

1In a skillet, brown beef, drain.

2Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the next nine ingredients, cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4 hours.

3Garnish individual servings with cheese if desired.
