- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 large green peppers, cut in strips
- 1/2 c. cold water
- cooked noodles or rice
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Cut beef into 3 x 1-inch strips; brown in oil in skillet. Transfer to a slow cooker.

2Combine the next 7 ingredients; pour over beef.

3Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until meat is tender.

4Add tomatoes and green peppers.
