- 3 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut in large dice
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup low sodium vegetable broth or 1 cup water
- 12 cup unsalted butter, room temperature and cubed
- 12 cup milk
- cooked crumbled bacon
- fresh snipped chives
Directions

1Place the potatoes, onion salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and stock in a lightly greased medium slow cooker.

2Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 1/2 hours.

3Stir in the butter and milk.

4With a potato masher, gently crush the potato mixture until the butter has completely melted and the mixture is smashed.

5Stir and garnish with either crumbled bacon or snipped chives.

6Serve warm.
