  • 3 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut in large dice
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 12 teaspoon black pepper
  • 14 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 14 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup low sodium vegetable broth or 1 cup water
  • 12 cup unsalted butter, room temperature and cubed
  • 12 cup milk
  • cooked crumbled bacon
  • fresh snipped chives

Directions

    Place the potatoes, onion salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and stock in a lightly greased medium slow cooker.

    Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 1/2 hours.

    Stir in the butter and milk.

    With a potato masher, gently crush the potato mixture until the butter has completely melted and the mixture is smashed.

    Stir and garnish with either crumbled bacon or snipped chives.

    Serve warm.
