- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 3/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Prepare cake as directed on package.

2Pour 1/2 in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

4Melt caramels, oleo and milk.

5Pour over baked cake.

6Add nuts, chocolate chips and remainder of cake mix.

7Return to oven for 20 minutes (350°). Return temperature to 325° for additional 10 minutes.

8Serve with either whipped cream, Cool Whip or powdered sugar.
