  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3/4 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/3 c. milk

Directions

    Prepare cake as directed on package.

    Pour 1/2 in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Melt caramels, oleo and milk.
  5. 5
    Pour over baked cake.

    Add nuts, chocolate chips and remainder of cake mix.

    Return to oven for 20 minutes (350°). Return temperature to 325° for additional 10 minutes.

    Serve with either whipped cream, Cool Whip or powdered sugar.
