- 1 c. soft butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Mix the butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Stir in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Chill about 1 hour.

2Roll into balls the size of walnuts.

3Roll balls into the sugar and cinnamon.

4Place on ungreased baking sheet.

5Bake in preheated 400° oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned but still soft.
