- 1/2 c. softened margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Cream margarine and Crisco with 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

2Blend the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.

3Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls.

4Blend together cinnamon and 3 tablespoons of sugar.

5Roll cookie dough balls in cinnamon and sugar and place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake at 400° for 8 minutes or until golden on top.

7Cool on racks.

8Yields about 6 dozen.
