  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

    Cream shortening, butter and sugar together.

    Add eggs and vanilla and mix.

    Sift remaining dry ingredients together, then add to first mixture and mix well.
