  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

    Mix the last 2 ingredients together and set aside. Mix the first 7 ingredients. Chill dough. Roll dough into balls (teaspoon size). Roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
