- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Mix shortening, margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.

3Stir in flour, cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon soda and salt.

4Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls.

5Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; roll balls in mixture.

6Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

7Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.

8Immediately remove from baking sheet. Makes about 6 dozen.
