- 1 23 cups all-purpose flour
- 14 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 34 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup butter, at room temperature
- 13 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, for rolling cookies
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Line or grease baking sheets and set aside.

3Combine flour, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.

5Beat butter and sugar until creamy.

6Add egg and vanilla.

7Stir in dry ingredients until smooth and just combined.

8Do not over-stir or the dough will become crumbly.

9Mix together cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar.

10Pinch dough into walnut-sized pieces and roll into balls.

11Roll each ball in cinnamon/sugar mixture, and place on baking sheets.

12Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
