  • 1 pk cake mix, german chocolate
  • 1 pk caramels (candy squares) small package
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 13 cup milk
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts chopped

Directions

    Mix cake mix as directed.

    Pour half of the batter into a greased 9x13 pan.

    Bake in preheated 350F (180C) oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Melt caramels, butter and milk together.

    Pour over baked mixture.
  6. 6
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel mixture.

    Pour remaining cake batter over top of all and bake 20 minutes at 250 degrees then 10 minutes at 350F (180C).
