  • 2 c. sour snitz (dried apple slices)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie

Directions

    Soak apples overnight in water.

    Cook them in the water they soaked in.

    When soft, put through colander.
  4. 4
    Add sugar and cinnamon.

    Turn into pastry lined pan and cover with top crust. Bake 10 minutes at 425°, then reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer.
